This October, the city that does pizza like no other is gearing up for a slice of the action! The Chicago Pizza Summit, the beloved Windy City tradition, will be returning for the first time since 2019. Following the precedent set by the first four festivities, the Chicago Pizza Summit promises to honor this city’s love of pizza like no other festival can.
The Chicago Pizza Summit will also include a surprise keynote speaker, the ultimate pizza photo booth experience, a Pizza Tattoo Parlor, a Pizza Themed Best Dressed contest, tunes by top Chicago DJs, a Chicago pizza pop-up art showcase, and select proceeds from the event benefiting the local non-profit Doughnate Pizza: where dough does well. Fans can also sign up for their chance to score Free Pizza for One Year!
The Summit will be showcasing a new location, The Royal Palms Shuffleboard Club, and inviting pizza aficionados, young and old, to celebrate a culinary icon. From deep-dish to thin-crust, Chicago's finest pizzerias and chefs will dish out their masterpieces, some will serve it up by the slice while others will present their unique twist and showcase different types of pizza-inspired cuisine. Look forward to seeing familiar faces from past summits (2019 participants included Angelo's Stuffed, Aurelio's Pizza, Bacci Pizzeria, Boiler Room, Connie's Pizza, Dimo’s Gino's East, Home Run Inn, Iltaco Foods, Lou Malnati's, Pizza in a Bag by Taco in a Bag, Slice of Cheesies, and The original Pizzeria UNO & Due), plus some fresh toppings to this year's roster.
Taking our love for Chicago food a notch higher, this year’s Summit is partnering with World Business Chicago and 2112, spotlighting Chicago's emerging food and beverage startups and trailblazers.
